Centrals to trial Bulldog Big Screen at Playford Alive Oval on 11th August

Central District will feature a big screen during the Bulldog's clash with West Adelaide at Playford Alive Oval on Saturday, August 11. Confirmed as an ABC televised game, Bulldog and Bloods supporters will be able to see close-up action from ABC TV, replays of certain passages of play and footage of the ABC's half time wrap. The club is also planning to possibly show some blast from the past footage pre-game.

"The idea behind the screen is to enhance the match day experience for people coming along", CDFC Marketing Manager Kym Jarman said. "We have a lot of families and groups of friends that come to our matches. Long term we are looking to enhance the experience for them and take the SANFL Match Day experience to the next level".

"We've noticed Twenty20 Cricket in the summer and other fast paced sporting events incorporating audio and visual aspects to make their events a really fun experience for families. If we can build the atmosphere at Playford Alive Oval it can only enhance the experience for all groups that come along, familes, groups of friends and so on".

Central District Football Club CEO Kris Grant, who has been a driving force behind the idea said, "We want Centrals to be the leading SANFL club in this area and to make the match day experience at our ground an atmosphere that both Centrals and opposition supporters can enjoy".

The planned trial will give everyone a taste of what a big screen can do and whet the appetite for possible corporate support to make the idea a permanent feature at Central's home matches.

Sound won't be added to the screen in its trial run on August 11 but long term plans include an extensive sound system giving spectators at Playford Alive Oval a complete audio and visual experience.

Interest in sponsoring the Bulldog Big Screen or assisting the club in making this idea a permanent one is more than welcome. CDFC Marketing Manager Kym Jarman can be contacted at the club on 8255 2555 during office hours.
