Good Friday Thank You

The Club would like to take this opportuity to thank everyone involved in making our Good Friday match a successful event.

We would like thank all patrons who attended on the day, and for their attention during our welcome and blessing, which recognised the significance of Good Friday.

We would like to thank the Northern Christian Leaders Network, and in particular, Reverend Peter Riggs from the Playford Uniting Church for working with the Club to help mark the significance of the day.

All Good Friday provisions were adhered to in great spirit, and the local Church Volunteers Hot X Bun stall was successful in providing an Easter touch to the event, and also raising a small amount of funds for local School Chaplains and also the Club's Charity Partner, Novita Children's Services.

We would also like to thank all of our match day volunteers who make each match day and event successful.

With great weather, a great atmosphere and a great win by the League Side on Good Friday we trust the day was enjoyed by all in attendance with Friends and Family.

Revered Peter Riggs also acknowledges and thanks the Club and everyone involved:

"It was a great privilege to be involved in making the recent Good Friday game just that little bit special for all those who attended. Through the work of Kym, Paul and Desiree of CDFC I was really struck by the willingness of the club to look to not merely accommodate a token gesture in respect to the day, but for the  club's willingness  to ensure  that what took place was at the heart of the day too.  This speaks volumes for a club that seeks to not just provide a good football experience, but also add to the communities life experience.  Well done. Grace and peace, Pete  (on behalf of the Northern Christian Leaders Network)"
