After ten years of incredible achievement, most people in South Australia consider the Central District Football Club to be one of the most successful sporting organisations in the state.

We are very proud of our record, but that’s not all we are and it hasn’t always been that way. For much of the first fifty years, we were a Club with a lot to prove. But it was those years of adversity that provided the solid foundation on which our current success was built.

As the newly established northern community grew and battled to establish its place in the affairs of the state, so did the Central District Football Club. This shared experience formed bonds between the Club and the community that run deep.

And it’s a relationship that continues through our involvement with various local businesses and community organisations including the local council, schools throughout the region and our long standing partnership of 21 years and counting with Holden.
