2 More Signings – 2 Players Return

2010 Premiership Player James Boyd has decided to return to the Bulldogs.

Small midfielder, James joined the Club in 2010 and played through to 2013. During that period, James achieved the following:-

2010 – Premiership Player

2012 – Runner Up Best & Fairest, Represented South Australia Vs Western Australia

2013 – Runner Up Best & Fairest, Represented South Australia Vs North Eastern Australia Football League

He played 69 League games with the Club.

Following a 6 year stint with Woodville / West Torrens whereby he was their Best & Fairest in 2018, James has decided to return to the Doggies.

The Club has desperately been attempting to recruit a couple of solid mid-fielders and new Coach Jeff Andrews believes James can fill that role.

At 30 years of age, he is superbly fit and his experience will be invaluable. Welcome back James.

Versatile Sam Hanna has also decided to re-join the Doggies in 2020.

After 77 League games , Sam was disillusioned with League football part way through the 2019 season and decided to return to his home Club in Gumeracha.

Sam is now back on track and is looking forward to giving League football another crack.

He has pace, good skills and can play wing – half back – half forward.

Sam debuted in 2014 and was awarded the League Incentive Award that year.

He is very keen to notch up 100 games with the Bulldogs. The Club also welcomes Sam back.
