SANFL will have as many as 18 players invited to test at the South Australian NAB AFL Combine on Saturday October 16.
Headlined by star South Adelaide trio Jason Horne-Francis, Matthew Roberts and Arlo Draper, the Croweaters will be among 120 players from across Australia to be screened at a series of state-based testing sessions.
A total of 60 players nationally will also be announced in mid-September to attend the national NAB AFL Combine which is currently scheduled to be held in Melbourne on September 29 and 30, pending Covid restrictions.
Panthers Horne-Francis, Roberts and Draper have all played at League level this year as have Central District pair Shay Linke and Leek Alleer.
Alleer, 20, has shone in his 10 League matches since making his debut in Round 7, making a habit of snaring eye-catching intercept marks deep in defence.
Silky Port Adelaide father-son prospect Jase Burgoyne is among the Croweaters after playing three League games for the Magpies earlier this year.
He can expect some tough competition from Glenelg’s Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera in the 20m sprint, with the Tigers wingman showing plenty of dash while playing in the Bays’ League team in the past fortnight.
