The Central District Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of George Kendall and Zac Buechner.
George is a product of the NSW football pathway and joins us after spending time as a Giants Academy player with his most recent football in the Riverina Football League.
George is a versatile utility at 193cm who can play forward, back and has athleticism to play around the ball as mobile ruck if required. We are excited to be a part of George’s football journey, as he transitions into SANFL we know he will be a valuable player in us striving to return to finals football in 2022.
Zac is a product of the Tasmania football pathway, with his home club Clarence, proving to be a goldmine for Centrals in the form or recruiting. Think Daniel Hulm, Ian Callinan, Nathan Grima and most recently Aiden Grace to name a few.
Zac is a key defender and at 194cm has his sights on playing on the opposition key forwards weekly. Zac comes to the club a mature State League footballer and has been Co-Captain within the Clarence senior team in 2021. We have no doubt that Zac will be an integral part of our team, in particular our backline in 2022.
