PAUL THOMAS TO COACH THE DOGS

The Club is excited to announce that one of the Club’s favourite sons is to take the reigns as Senior Coach in 2021.

Club President, David Cavenett said “the Club had spoken with a few prospects but Paul Thomas put forward a most impressive presentation”.

Paul has had a most illustrious playing career and in 2016, decided to take up a role with the Adelaide Football Club as a Development Coach until the Covid-19 Pandemic hit the country which unfortunately caused he and the Adelaide Football Club to part ways.

He then offered his services to assist the playing group at our Club as a mid-field coach this season.

Over the journey, Paul has been a school teacher and spent 2 years as head coach at Henley High Sport and Academy – AFL.

Paul brings with him; vast experience, a knowledge of our Club and a great deal of enthusiasm.

Paul Thomas said “I am privileged to be able to coach the Club after being a player who has come through the Club’s Development Programme to League ranks”.

“I am determined to work hard with a Football Club which has a strong Club fabric and represents a supporting community and I am looking forward to using my experience through teaching and coaching to add to the Football Club”.
