Women’s Football – Senior Coach Vacancy

Last Updated:

The Central District Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Coach to head up their SANFL Women’s Football Programme for Season 2022 and beyond.

The Club was established in 1959 and has been playing in the SANFL League competition since 1964. Continuing our proud history, our Women’s team entered the SANFLW in 2019 and have been steadily improving over the past 3 seasons. We have excellent facilities at our Club, enhanced recently by the grant announcement to build Unisex change rooms and upgrade the surface and lighting at the oval next door.

In 2021 our Women’s team narrowly missed the finals, so the incoming coach will retain a talented playing list that is very committed to developing their level of football while at the same time embracing a fun and supportive off-field culture. We also have strong junior female pathway programmes that will provide players for our senior team over the coming years.

The Senior Coach will be responsible for a football programme based on strong leadership, elite standards, deliver team and individual player development and possess strong communication skills. This role is a unique opportunity to have a positive impact and continue to develop the strong culture that currently exists at this stable State League Club.

The position is a part-time role, and the number of hours required and renumeration can be negotiated between the successful applicant and the Club.
